missingWrote a review on Jan 03separate freezerfreezer items
It was just a fine choice for taking strolls in Monterey with very good value for money. The fridge had a separate freezer that I loved, though it was set too low initially, making my items thaw. Be sure to check the fridge settings when you arrive.

I truly appreciated the beautifully decorated common areas, which were inviting and well-maintained. The pathways were clear and accessible, providing a safe and pleasant environment for me during my stay. It felt very welcoming.
More grab bars would enhance bathroom safety.

Staying at Lone Oak Lodge was a great experience. The room was spacious, clean, and looked newly remodeled. It was centrally located near everything I needed, including golf courses, restaurants, and the aquarium. The staff was extremely friendly, making the overall stay more enjoyable. The absence of carpet is a notable feature, making it pet-friendly and easy to maintain.
The TV could be upgraded to smart capabilities for convenience.

missingWrote a review on Oct 01big roomclean facilitiesfriendly staffnoisy airrough area
The room at Lone Oak Lodge was big and clean, with a nice fridge and microwave. The comfortable bed was a highlight, making it easy to sleep well. Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit was really noisy, which made it hard to relax at times. Check-in felt a bit strange since the clerk was behind glass. The surrounding area looked rough and didn't feel very safe, which was a downside. Despite that, I appreciated the cleanliness of the lodge overall and would consider staying again if I'm in the area.

We spent 2 nights in a cozy King Room and loved the big bathroom and the fridge for our snacks. The outdoor fire pit made for a perfect evening hangout, and the complimentary Starbucks coffee was a nice touch. Just wish the Wi-Fi had been a bit faster, but overall, we had a fantastic time! ☕

Cozy place with a nice vibe
Had a really nice stay! The outdoor heaters and BBQ were a hit, and the indoor Jacuzzi was perfect after a day spent at the aquarium. Super clean and well-kept, but man, those beds could use some softness! I’ll definitely bring a mattress cover next time. Also loved the picnic area for a chill hangout.

Absolutely adorable and clean! Felt like a cozy home away from home. It was affordable. I could actually leave some things in my room and not feel like a deer in headlights!
The WiFi was about as reliable as an old clock—sometimes it did, but mostly it didn't! Also, let's just say the beds were so firm, I almost checked if they were made of concrete!

The new bedding made for a restful sleep throughout the night. The tiny dining area with comfortable chairs was a nice touch for enjoying a meal. The quietness of the motel created a peaceful environment.
The renovations in some areas were not finished yet.
